The work I do at Cost of I Do is built on the idea that real conversations between real people are how change happens. That includes the conversations between readers and me.

So unlike a lot of brand “contact” pages — where messages disappear into a queue and a templated response shows up three days later — every message that comes through this page lands in my actual inbox. I read every one. I don’t always have time to respond at length, but I read them all.

I’m a small operation. Cost of I Do is one person plus occasional help. I respond as quickly as I can, but it’s not always instant.
I read everything. Even the messages I don’t respond to are read. If you’ve taken the time to write, that’s noticed.
I can’t give individual advice. I’m not a therapist or financial planner, so I can’t advise on specific relationship or money situations — but I’ll always point you somewhere helpful.
